## How does the Sync Bin work on the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor?

The Sync Bin is a multi-camera workflow on the Cut page. Press the Sync Bin key to display all camera angles that are synced to the current timeline position in a multiview layout. Each angle appears in its own quadrant. Press a camera number button to select that angle, then press Source Overwrite to edit it into the timeline on a layer above the existing clip.

## How does Live Override work for real-time camera switching?

Press a camera number while turning the search dial to apply that camera angle as you move forward through the timeline. This is Live Override mode. You can use it momentarily by holding the camera button, or latch it on using the Live Override button. When latched, the buttons light up and you can switch cameras like a production switcher — selecting different angles while the timeline plays.

The camera number section also includes Video Only and Audio Only buttons. Press Video Only to switch just the video track to a different camera while keeping the current audio. This enables split edits where the audio from one angle continues under video from another angle — essential for interview coverage with multiple cameras.

## How does Source Overwrite work with the Sync Bin?

Source Overwrite matches the clip timecode to the timecode of the current timeline position and places the clip in sync on the layer above. It is designed for shoots where all cameras are synced to the same timecode. Select an angle in the Sync Bin multiview, press Source Overwrite, and the clip appears at the correct position without manual alignment. This is a simpler alternative to traditional multi-cam editing workflows.
