## What is the fastest way to sync multicam using waveforms?
If you recorded an interview with three different cameras and left their internal microphones running, DaVinci Resolve can instantly align all angles using the scratch audio.

To quickly sync multicam using waveforms:
1. Go to the **Media Pool** on the Edit Page.
2. Select all the video clips (and any external high-quality audio files) from the shoot.
3. Right-click the selected clips and choose **Create New Multicam Clip Using Selected Clips**.
4. In the dialog box, change the **Angle Sync** dropdown to **Sound**. Click **Create**. DaVinci Resolve will analyze the audio peaks and generate a single synchronized master clip ready for live cutting.

## How do you sync multicam using embedded timecode?
If you shot a massive concert with professional cinema cameras jammed to the same external timecode generator, you must bypass audio analysis entirely.

To sync multicam using timecode:
1. Select the massive list of video and audio files in the **Media Pool**.
2. Right-click and choose **Create New Multicam Clip Using Selected Clips**.
3. Change the **Angle Sync** dropdown to **Timecode**.
4. Click **Create**. Because timecode is mathematically precise, the sync will happen instantly regardless of how long the concert lasted or how bad the audio sounds.

## How do you sync multicam manually with a clapper board?
If your camera microphones were turned off or corrupted during filming, automatic waveform sync will instantly fail, forcing you to manually align a visual spike.

To manually sync multicam:
1. Double-click each camera clip in the Media Pool to load it into the source viewer.
2. Find the exact frame where the wooden clapper board snaps shut (or where the actor claps their hands).
3. Press `M` to place a Marker on that exact frame for each clip.
4. Select all the clips, right-click, and choose **Create New Multicam Clip Using Selected Clips**.
